Zach Novatt

Zach Novatt is responsible for the sourcing, underwriting, and execution of loan opportunities in the Southern California, Southwest and Mountain regions.

Prior to joining Calmwater, Zach was a Vice President and Head of Acquisitions at GR Properties, the US division, of a multi-billion dollar vertically integrated Hong Kong development company. Prior to his time with GR Properties, Zach was with Canyon Partners involved in the acquisition, underwriting and execution of commercial real estate investments on behalf of Canyon’s various debt and equity platforms. Zach began his career in investment banking in New York within the Real Estate industry group at J.P. Morgan and structured products at Citigroup.

Zach received a BS in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
